Clinical bioinformatics and diagnostics for Long COVID, ME/CFS, POTS, and other complex chronic conditions.
Medicine's blind spot
Long COVID, ME/CFS, POTS, and other complex chronic conditions sit in medicine's blind spot without reliable diagnostics or effective treatments. For over 30 million patients in the U.S. living with these conditions, diagnosis often takes years of specialist visits and inconclusive labs.
The treatment that follows is largely trial-and-error, with little evidence to guide clinicians using repurposed drugs to manage symptoms. And there are few new therapies in development to bring better options to patients.
Two problems sit at the core of these challenges: The heterogeneity and nebulous nature of these conditions, and the lack of informative biomarkers needed for accurate screening, diagnosis, and measurement of treatment response. As a result, the development of new diagnostics and treatments becomes prohibitively expensive and uncertain, progress stalls, and patients are left waiting.
What we are building
We're flipping the bench-to-clinic paradigm. By developing bioinformatics and lab tests built for the unique challenges of these conditions, we are building the systems that will optimize care today and make the next generation of therapies feasible to develop.
Robust, actionable insights that improve clinical decisions and translate into better real-world patient outcomes
Designed for existing systems of care, fitting naturally into how clinicians work and patients access treatment
Creating development pathways for new treatments, using patient data that is responsibly captured rather than lost
